Around 80% of UN-Habitat’s income comes from national governments. Other donors include local authorities, UN agencies, private sector and civil society. UN-Habitat’s main funds are regular budget – which refers to UN-Habitat’s allocation of assessed contributions from UN Headquarters, Foundation General Purposes: non-earmarked contributions towards the core normative work of the agency, Foundation Special Purpose: earmarked contributions to normative work and Technical Cooperation: earmarked income towards country activities.
